but this new year 2017 something is different about this place unlike its daily routine this place is looking some how beautiful and mesmerizing. This is nothing but The magic of "happy street" for which every year people wait for the amazing event to happen in the streets of kolkata. people from different location be here in these streets , which is for that time known as happy streets to make people happy with the level of excitement, events, and fun which is a gift to the people of kolkata wrapped in a golden wrapper by the team of Times Of India associated  with Bidhannagar city police presented by  Shyam steel Industry Ltd. powered by Mount hill really.

 the fun has already started with the happy date of 8th January and it will last till 12th January. people from different locations in kolkata are coming here all together at same time and same place and having fun like a kid.

crowd is unbelievable people from old 60s to youths to children everyone are looking at each other with the smiling faces and happy mood.

12th January yet another day of happy street and i am  here with my friends.starting my today's journey from getting up early sharp at 5.A.M to reaching in those happy street sharp at 7.A.M as when fun is unlimited you can't take risk to miss it.

this is the first time i have seen such event and it's shameful that being here in kolkata I have missed the fun and magic of happy street for so long.the faces are so lit up in this cool dozy morning where in our usual days we all tend to be lazy and look like a polar who wants sleep like anything  but here people are shining with glamour of happiness , playing here and there walking on the streets freely,enjoying busy in taking pictures and selfies. 

The most amazing fact i liked bout happy street is that it finds our inner child in this grown up mature body of youth. Can you imagine you are playing blind fold, dog in the bone ,cheklet(a game used to play when was kid) and all the ganme4s which we used to play when we were kid. i guess no specially not on public streets right?

But here people can't be defined with the age group everyone are enjoying different things which entertain themselves as well as people around them. some are walking and exploring the streets as if this is some thing which is different from regular streets of same lanes.

within this happy time of 6 A.M. to 10 A.M everyone had their best time.Everyone had their own meaning of fun and happiness. few enjoyed by clicking thousands of selfies , few enjoyed by being a kid again, few had fun with the blood donation service. oh yes ! how can i forget this social welfare activity of  blood donation zone. in spite of having so much games and cycling, skating ,games DJ it was glad to see a blood donation zone in this street.

This can be said as one  of the best day of  my life top explore something like. it is very common in most of the places now a days organizing a day like happy streets , jam@street to have fun in early morning in fresh weather but still it is fun to see that every year people wait for this common but precious fun to have with their friends and loved ones and also to maker  new friends for girl like me who love to make new ones and glad to have few which is the gift of Happy street to me.
