DREAM
TO VISIT DREAM
In the end you don’t remember the time you were studious
or talent of wasting your time doing
nothing at the end what you remember is
your amazing trips, strange yet interesting people and the memories which you scroll in
your phone gallery .Apart from all this mesmerizing happiness , the joy is the
most precious when you’ll be narrating your travel stories to others.
I would have lost this chance of visiting a new
place where I have never been but always wanted to be. I am glad that I didn’t
miss the chance or else I would have cried whole day and night in my hostel bed
regretting on my stupid decision. But I didn’t want to look like a kid who lost
his lollipop ,I had mine and started off with a journey from Jalandhar to
Mumbai .Team of 2 girls planning the trip toward our destination “Mumbai”.
After unbearable wait of 29 hours 30 minutes Here we were standing in Mumbai central around 4 ‘o’ clock
morning
The first thing I noticed was that People were so
busy and they were a huge rush even in the early morning schedule. We landed to
station and had our first sip of tea as we were almost freezing in this early
morning chilling weather . Wow! It looks exactly similar to what I used to see
in televisions and daily soap really…! I wanted, god to pinch me that I am
actually in the city of dreams. Suddenly a flashback of series “Girl in the
city “came to my mind where that crazy Meera Sehgal posted each and everything and
I thought her to be the crazy nerd who just can’t be mature enough but honestly
I was feeling the same excitement inside
me just like a kid who can’t wait to have
his/her packets of chocolate which is in front of him.
I can’t take my eyes off even after my tiring
sleepless journey of train. My eyes were like a glowing object who wants to
seek more of the beauty and charm of the place, especially in such night lights
when it was looking as if I am in some
foreign country, I know sounds cheesy but you can’t help it this is what you feel when your enthusiasm is on top. I felt
myself in some roller coaster rides which goes up and up and up but never comes down though it was my simple car, I Spent
whole 2 days wandering like a nomad, sleeping in the backseat of car as if I am
some tiny creature who made her little house in the backseat of my in nova,
counting stars whole night, gazing at endless points of seashores and so on and
on
I started my day with the search of some hotels to
fresh in up so that we can be more energetic and can get good pictures after
all our 2 days journey can be seen with our dull tiring faces. Every moment,
every minute I can feel something inside me. We girls needed to look not pretty
or beautiful but at least fresh
Once I found myself fresh and ready my “to see list” is going to start now Here are some places which I found
tremendously appreciable spots which I can’t afford to lose.
Haji
–Ali
One of the most mesmerizing places in Mumbai
“Haji-Ali” it felt so pure to visit this beautiful yet peaceful Mosque (Dargha)
.If You are in Mumbai you cannot afford to bungle a visit to “Haji-Ali. It is
located in the middle of Arabian Sea of lala lajpatt Rai marg and looks
stunning specially at time when I saw early morning
MARINE
LINE
I remember when I used to hear this word and see the
pictures of marine line in movies specially one of my favorite “wake up sid
“and imagined myself to be there on those beautiful rocks and sit for hours
cherishing the beauty of those waves, sounds of water and cool breeze which I
will finger and there I was feeling more
than what I have imagined hundreds of times in my own mind. You can’t miss
Marine line visit especially when you are with your loved one .Imagine holding
hands and walking together at night because this city never sleeps. Isn’t it amazing,
sounds romantic. Yes, trust me being single I enjoyed, which I can’t even
describe people along with their loved ones will feel heaven.
ALI
BAGH
Though I only had a drive to Alibagh as I told you I
spent my entire 2 days in car just roaming around.. Alibagh’s streets were just
taking me to that song from “jab we met“hum
jo chalne lage ….chalne lage hai ye raaste “ hahaha! Funny isn’t it
actually even I was thinking that I am
being so dramatic and foolish ,like a mad person but it is what I actually sensed,a crazy traveller who just
got lost in the city
JUHU
BEACH
Getting up early in the morning and running barefoot
on the sand of Juhu beach was something i told to thousands of people and re-lived
that moment again and again. It was not my city and dancing on the beach,
having fun, talking to the strangers, had my sister time with my trip partner
and doing most of the things which I had dreamt of. I would never miss a chance
to visit Juhu beach again right from
morning 8 ‘o’ clock you can see the crowd around you few uncles who run and jog
, aunties , kids playing and other and I just
locked every moment inside my brain and got amused with the beauty of
not only place but people
Food
food food !
Oh my god! After so much anyone must be hungry
and so many rats and dinosaurs must have
taken shelter to one’s small tummy . It’s time for yummy food for small tummy
isn’t it ?
After such beautiful site seeing, beach, water,
people how can I forget about delicious food I had thereI always wanted to taste the famous “vada paav “ and
“kande pohe “ which we all know thanks to unlimited Bollywood Mumbai oriented
movies and Hindi drama that these two dishes were at my top list and you won’t
believe that 10 rs vada paav was actually more than yummy.
I had every flavor of Mumbai food may it be” paav
bhaji” of chowpatti or classy dinner at classy restaurants. Apart from places
food was like cherry on the cake.
These are few places which will give you never forgetting
taste
Paav bhaji at juhu & chowpatti
Vada paav at any street stalls and trust me that 10 RS
will be 100 in taste.
Food at Taj hotel delicious and yummy
Sea food at garam masala arioli Mumbai
SHOPPING TIME ‘
When you are a girl how can you just forget shopping?
No matter you went for a single day or few hours checkout on some shopping
areas will be your one of the top most priorities. Am I right?
Similarly though it was Holi time, I managed to
visit little fashion street market in Bandra. And I can bet you if you are a
shopaholic you will get out of that place with multiple numbers of Polly bags
which will be still less for you and you will crave for few more products which
you saw but couldn’t buy. I can say that because same happened with me
And with so much fun my trip ended with so many
memories and I loved my journey to Mumbai made new friends , companions in my
train journey , loved the environment , saw every celebrities places ,hoped for
few to be seen which didn’t happen.
My lust for Mumbai has increased actually, as this
city never cease to amaze you ,this city there is so much left out to see in this
beautiful city. If you are planning any trip keep Mumbai at top and add some
more places which I failed to visit in my first trip which I’ll surely makeup
in my second one
Lonavala , Khandala, Goa , mud island , Gateway of
India, Elephanta Caves and so on.
I enjoyed a lot and this was the best journey of my life. and when I am writing about this journey , trust me its half or less than half of the fun which I described , which I actually can't describe. I am eagerly waiting for such more journey to go on and explore the strange people and fun to acquire.
