1."KADHI BHUJIYA"- You must be thinking what is so unique about this "Kadhi Bhujiya" but uniqueness is not in name but the taste you will have in this special "Kadhi Bhujiya" of famous shop located in kolkata burrabazar "chunilal". it is the unique dish of the shop serving kadhi bhujiya and kachori with little spice and curd in a bowl  made of dry Sal leaves.So planning to kolkata don't miss it out or else just have a way to regret.

2."PYAJ KI KACHORI"( Onion kachori): Though Rajasthan is famous for "pyaz ki kachori" or "jodhpuri kachori" which is a Marwari dish you will be amazed to know that "pyaz ki kachori " is one of the famous dish with again its unique taste which differs from taste of Rajasthan's "kachori" which can only be available at "Ambika" shop at  Burr bazar.  Kolkata is not only the place of Bengali oriented dishes but also have diversified food just like population there.

3."MISHTI DOI" : Kolkata food list and name of " Mishti doi"(sweet curd) doesn't come is just like fish swimming in land. Kolkata and its Mishti Doi is the best combination. We all have eaten  sweet curd in packets from malls and every different shops of different places but still that taste of mishti doi in clay's bowl just can't be explain in words. No other taste of mishti doi hence sweet curd can be compared to the taste which we have in kolkata in typical Bengali sweet shops.

4."KOCHURI, RADHABALLAVI,DALPURI": Typical breakfast one who lives in kolkata will surely have once in a week or a month. You might be confused with these three dishes named as "kochuri, Radhaballavi and Dal puri " these are the famous breakfast you will surely find at every sweet shops almost in every lane of kolkata.these three different kinds of kochuri served with spicy" alu dom"(potato gravy) you will hardly find in any part of India. Sounds so unhygienic and out of generation food but trust me after having it once you will love to have it again and again.It will again surprise you that being available in almost every shop you will hardly find these left in any shops after 10 'O' clock.

5."CHILLA ,DAL PAKODA": We all have a tendency to think that street foods are just so unhealthy and unhygienic but i believe street foods are way more tasty than classy restaurant and more tasty too.Chilla and Dal pakoda is one of them. Hawkers and vendors holding a stand on busy roads of Burrabazar and selling this delicious "Chilla and Dal pakoda " with 3 different chutney is delicious. Crowd over this stalls will surely make you understand that how yummy they actually are.

6."BHARER -CHA" : Tea lovers surely have tried different kinds of tea like green tea , black tea, lemon tea , ginger tea and many more. In films also we always used to see "Tapri ki chai" and once we all have tried too "tapri ki chai"(place in the corner of road with a stall covered with a tent ) in rains but here is a twist with the served tea in kolkata you can have tea in cups, glasses but it's really different to have tea in "BHAR " in Bengali or "sikora"(cup made of clay) as well which is cup made of clay.If you re in kolkata just grab the opportunity and tell stories of your "Bharer cha "
